Bracknell Forrest, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Works

What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, BRACKNELL, WARFIELD, WINKFIELD & CROWTHORNE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the direction stated along the following lengths of road: -

a) A3095 Foresters Way, Crowthorne from Nine Mile Ride to Joshua Jebb Way, in both directions

The southbound diversion route for this closure will be via B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Old Wokingham Road, Bracknell Road, High Street, Sandhurst Road, Crowthorne Road, A321 Yorktown Road, Rackstraw Road, Foresters Way.

The northbound diversion route for this closure will be via A3095 Foresters Way, Rackstraw Road, A321 Yorktown Road, Crowthorne Road, Sandhurst Road, High Street, B3348 Bracknell Road, Foresters Way

b) A3095 Foresters Way, Crowthorne, northbound only between B3348 Bracknell Road to B3430 Nine Mile Ride.

The diversion route for this closure will be via B3348 Bracknell Road, Old Wokingham Road and B3430 Nine Mile Ride

c) B3348, Bracknell Road, Crowthorne, the northbound shoot lane only leading to Foresters Way.

The diversion route for this closure will be via A3095 Foresters Way (Foresters Roundabout), B3348 Bracknell Road, Old Wokingham Road and B3430 Nine Mile Ride

d) A322 Windsor Road, Winkfield, between Woodside Road and Peanut Roundabout.

The diversion for this route is reverse.

The diversion route for this closure will be via A322 Windsor Road, A330 Winkfield Road, A330 Hatchet Lane, Lovel Road, B3022 North Street, B383 Mounts Hill, or this route in reverse.

e) Lovelace Road, Bracknell, between Ellesfield Avenue and the bus lane to Ringmead.

f) B3017 Winkfield Row and unclassified Winkfield Row, Bracknell for its whole length.

The diversion for this closure will be via, B3034 Forest Road, B3022 Bracknell Road or this route in reverse.

g) B3020 Bagshot Road, Winkfield between borough boundary to the south with Surrey County and borough boundary to the north with the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.

The diversion route for this closure will be via, B3020 Bagshot Road, A330 Devonish Road, A30 London Road, B3020 Sunninghill Road, or this route in reverse.

h) B3022 Bracknell Road, Warfield between Malt Hill and Winkfield Row.

The diversion for this closure will be, B3017 Winkfield Row, B3034 Forest Road, B3022 Bracknell Road or this route in reverse.

i) Pinefields Close, Crowthorne, from no.14 to the end

j) Dryden, Bracknell, for its whole length

k) Ditchling, Bracknell for its whole length.

Access will be maintained where possible for residents and businesses affected by this Order.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on the road namely carriageway resurfacing works.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 30th April 2025 and the maximum duration will be 18 months or until the completion of the resurfacing order shall be the earlier. It is currently anticipated that the resurfacing works on sites a) to j) above will be commenced on 30th April 2025 and continue until September 2025. Advance warning signs detailing individual sites closure dates will be placed on site closer to the commencement of the works.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
