What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH (CONSOLIDATED)

(WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING, DISABLED PARKING AND RESIDENTS PARKING)

AMENDMENT ORDER No.56, NOVEMBER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council has MADE the above
Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. Restrictions under the Order
The Order will come into operation on Monday 28 April 2025 and includes the following effects as
advertised in the Express and Star newspaper dated 22 November 2024. The Order will include,
but is not limited to:
Amendments to existing and new on-street parking and loading restrictions and bus stop
clearways at locations in Willenhall.
Roads included in the Order.
 New Road
 Birches Rise
 Newlands Close
 Bilston Street
 Rose Hill Gardens
 Rose Hill
 Tyler Road
Further Information
Full details of the Order and plans which show the roads subject to the Order may be examined
by appointment at The Civic Centre, Darwall Street, WALSALL, during normal office hours. (Ref:
GW/2265/5702). If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions
contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument
made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from
17 April 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
