What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
LIGHTHOUSE ROAD, FLAMBOROUGH

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Lighthouse Road, Flamborough between properties
Porch Cottage and The Cabin commencing 6 May
2025 at 08.00 hours to allow customer electrical
fuse upgrade works to be carried out safely.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring
the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed by 8 May 2025 at
18.00 hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via: N/A - no through road.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be
maintained for emergency vehicles, residents and
pedestrians. Access to the car park entrance will be
maintained using road plates.
