TO DYKEHEAD HALL JUNCTION LONGRAMLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3049 Newmoor Hall Junction to Dykehead Hall Junction Longframlington from outside the front of Stable Cottage heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 148 metres and then continuing on for a further 158 metres in a northerly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th May 2025 until the 30th May 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th May 2025 until the 19th May 2025 between the hours of 08:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th May 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U3049, C106 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Northern Powergrid to excavate to make a new connection. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
