What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DYEHOUSE LANE NEW MILLS

WHEN: 14 July to 05 September 2025 (for 10 days within date window).
WHERE: Dyehouse Lane, New Mills between High Street and Springfield Bank.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Spring Bank and vice versa
REASON: To facilitate surface dressing.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
