(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following section of roads in the County of Northumberland:
B1337 Ulgham Village Main Road from its junction with the C124 in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 444 metres.
B1337 Longhirst Village to Ulgham Village in its entirety
B1337 Longhirst Village from its intersection with B1337 Longhirst Village to Ulgham Village in a southerly direction for a distance of 380 metres
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd April 2025 until the 31st October 2025
It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 22nd April 2025 between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 31st October 2025
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B1337, A1068, C125 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
