Ballyclare May Fair
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has received an
application from Ballyclare May Fair Working Group to hold the
below events;
Amusements as part of Ballyclare May Fair on Harrier Way on
Wednesday 14th May 2025 until Saturday 24th May 2025.
By Virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule
3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 the
Council gives notice that it is minded to make an Order to temporarily
restrict or prohibit vehicular traffic from using Harrier Way from its
junction with Avondale Drive to the junction with The Square during
the following times:
Wednesday 14th May 2025 at 20:00hrs until Saturday 24th May 2025
23:00hrs
A diversion route will be signposted.
A Traditional Street Party and Horse Fair as part of Ballyclare May Fair
on Main Street on Tuesday 20th May 2025
By Virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule
3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997
the Council gives notice that it is minded to make an Order to
temporarily restrict or prohibit vehicular traffic from using Main Street
from the Junction with Park Street and Main Street from its junction
with Avondale Drive on Tuesday 20th May 2025 between the hours of
08:30am and 17:00hrs
A diversion route will be signposted.
Soap Box Derby as part of Ballyclare May Fair on Ballyeaston Road on
Thursday 22nd May 2025.
By Virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule
3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 the
Council gives notice that it is minded to make an Order to temporarily
restrict or prohibit vehicular traffic from using Ballyeaston Road from
Charles Drive to Ballycorr Road and a section of Ballycorr Road from
Ballyeaston Road to Park Street on Thursday 22nd May 2025 between
the hours of 16:30 and 21:00hrs.
A diversion route will be signposted.
Arrangements can be made to inspect the application
free of charge, by contacting the Council on the number and/or
email below.
Persons wishing to make representations to the Council regarding the
proposal may do so in writing at the address below by 5pm Thursday
8th May 2025. Representations received after this will
not be considered.
