Cantley Lane Service Road at Cantley in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to telecommunications
equipment are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of
the scheme and access arrangements.

have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic

suspend the One Way Order as described in the Schedule to

Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of April 2025 the
City of Doncaster Council made an Order under the
provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the
30th day of April 2025 be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
Grantham Street, New Rossington
Both sides
(i) From its junction with the southern kerbline of West End
Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction
West End Lane, New Rossington
South side
(i) From a point 10 metres east of its junction with the eastern
kerbline of Grantham Street for a distance of 27 metres in a
generally westerly direction
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods, in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and
delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated
by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera
Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring or
enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles are also included in the Order.
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads
may be examined at the Council Offices, Civic Office,
Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the
provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act
or of any instrument made under it has not been complied
with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the
16th day of April 2025 apply to the High Court for this
purpose.
