Albion Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ALBION ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 04 May to 05 May 2025 (08:00 to 17:00 each day).
WHERE: Albion Road, Chesterfield at its jct. with Foljambe Road.
REASON: To facilitate street light repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise Only - Albion Road (from point of closure), Clarence Road, West Bars, West Bars Roundabout, Foljambe Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
