TO GREENHILL FARM JUNCTION SEAHOUSES
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2018 Shoreston Hall Junction to Greenhill Farm Junction, Seahouses from its junction with B1340 Seahouses to Bamburgh heading westwards for a distance of 378 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th May 2025 until the 31st May 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th May 2025 until the 20th May 2025, and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st May 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1340, U2020, C65, U2018 and vice-versa.
Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by R J Utility Services to install a poly duct for network fibre. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
