The City Of Plymouth (Traffic Movement And Speed Limit Regulations) (Amendment Order No. 2025.2137335 Old Town Street) 
Experimental Order 2025

The Council of the City of Plymouth in exercise of their powers under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, have made the above named Experimental Orders:-

The effect of the orders shall be to:
1. Prohibit Access of Motor Vehicles Midnight-4am and 8am-Midnight - Permit Holders Exempt on lengths of: Armada Way, Cornwall Street, Civic Square, New George Street & Old Town Street

2. Add No Loading & No Waiting at Any Time on lengths of: Armada Way, Cornwall Street, Guildhall Square, New George Street, Old Town Street & Whimple Street

3. Add Goods Loading Only bays on lengths of: Whimple Street & Guildhall Square

4. Revoke the taxi ranks on lengths of: Old Town Street Plymouth City Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely.

Objections to the Experimental Order should be made in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, within a period of 6 months beginning on the day on which the Experimental Order came into force or within a period of 6 months beginning on the day that a variation or modification to the Experimental Order subsequently comes into force.
