What is happening?

NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL

ST ENOCH AVENUE, VIEWPARK, UDDINGSTON

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2025

On 7 April 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on Footway and Carriageway Resurfacing Works) on St Enoch Avenue, Viewpark, Uddingston from its junction of Glenburn Avenue to the junction of Limetree Avenue by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: Vehicles on the south side of the closure should proceed on Limetree Avenue, Sycamore Avenue and Glenburn Crescent to the north side of the closure.

Vehicles on the north side of should proceed vice-versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

No Waiting and No Loading Restrictions from 0800 hours on Tuesday 22 April until 2359 hours on Friday 30 May 2025

No vehicle shall be permitted to wait or load on St Enoch Avenue, Viewpark over its entire length, on both sides of the road.

The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 30th May 2025.
