Delme Roundabout & Cams Hill, Fareham - Temporary Road Closure due to Bridge Inspection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – A27 DELME ROUNDABOUT & A27 CAMS HILL, FAREHAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A27 Delme Roundabout & A27 Cams Hill (Westbound) between both of its junctions with A27 Eastern Way and its junction with The Thicket.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A27, Wallington Way, Wickham Road, Hoad’s Hill, School Road, Droxford Road, Wickham Road, Midlington Road, South Hill, High Street, Garrison Hill, Warnford Road, Alton Road, Warnford Road, Alton Road, Petersfield Road, Winchester Road, Liphook and Petersfield By-Pass, London Road, Portsmouth Road, London Road, Maurepas Way, London Road, Southampton Road, East Street, West Street, Porchester Road, Cams Hill
DURATION OF ORDER: from 30th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 nights, working between the hours 21:00 – 06:00).
The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for GTM & Xeiad to carry out bridge inspections for network rail. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: bonnie.kelly@gtm.co.uk
GTM & Xeiad will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
