Whitewool Lane, East Meon - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – WHITEWOOL LANE, EAST MEON, EAST HAMPSHIRE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Whitewool Lane between its junction with Coombe Road and a point approx. 750 metres North of said junction.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Coombe Lane, West Meon Road, A31, Hayden Lane

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 08:30 – 15:30).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out pole replacement works.
