What is happening?

BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - ROCK PLACE, BRIGHTON

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-

The temporary closure of Rock Place, Brighton from outside property number 2 to outside property number 5a.

2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to safely carry out construction of a new three story building.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.

4. This Order comes into force on 5 May 2025 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 31 October 2025.
