THE A35 TRUNK ROAD (WESTOVER HILL, CHARMOUTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A35 trunk road in the County of Dorset to allow telegraph pole works and associated maintenance to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over two days (08.00 to 17.00) commencing on or after 17 April 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of the A35 eastbound exit slip road to Westover Hill.
During the closures traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A35 and local roads.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 15 April 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
