HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

  1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 22ain Ebrill 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 22ain Ebrill 2025 a’r 23ain Ebrill 2025, gan weithio rhwng 09:00 a 17:00.
  2. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol gan y bydd y briffordd yn cael ei lleihau i lôn sengl gyda’r defnydd a reolir gan oleuadau traffig dros dro i ganiatáu i waith MJ Quinn gael ei wneud yn ddiogel yn y lleoliad.
  3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd lleihau’r terfyn cyflymder dros dro ar ran o’r B4521 Hen Heol Rhosan, Llandeilo Bertholau, Sir Fynwy. Gostyngiad yn y terfyn cyflymder o 60mya i 40mya. Gostyngiad terfyn cyflymder yn dechrau ~37m o’i chyffordd â Crowfield i Lôn Bryn-y-Gwenin am ~475m i gyfeiriad y gorllewin.
  4. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dro B4521 Hen Heol Rhosan, Llandeilo Bertholau, Sir Fynwy 2025.
  5. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

  1. The Order shall come into operation on the 22nd April 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on 22nd April 2025 and 23rd April 2025, operating between 09:00 17:00.
  2. The order is necessary as the highway will be reduced to a single lane with the use controlled temporary traffic signals to allow for MJ Quinn works to take place safely at the location.
  3. The effect of the order will be to temporarily reduce the speed limit on a section of the B4521 Old Ross Road, Llantilio Pertholey, Monmouthshire.
    A reduction of the speed limit from 60mph to 40mph.
    Speed limit reduction starting ~37m from its junction with Crowfield to Bryn-Y-Gwenin Lane for ~475m in a westerly direction.
  4. This order may be cited as the B4521 Old Ross Road, Llantilio Pertholey, Monmouthshire Speed Limit Reduction Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025.
  5. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
