Wine Street - Temporary Road Closure To Replace Inspection Chamber

Temporary Closure of Wine Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Wine Street - from the junction with Christchurch Street to the junction with High Street. A total distance of 61 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to replace inspection chamber.
The Order becomes effective on 17th April 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 22nd April 2025 and last until 24th April 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
