Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth.
This prohibition is necessary for blockage clearance works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th May 2025 to 16th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0600, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Arwenack Street between the junctions of Custom House Quay and Bank Place and Bank Place between the junction of Arwenack Street and the property named Bank House, Falmouth. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Cury Cross Lanes, Bochym Hill, Cury Cross Lanes between the junction of Chypons Road and grid reference SW69590 20728 for approximately 730 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out poling works. The Order will come into operation on 16th May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 16th May 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
