EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES

THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (BALMUILDY ROAD, BISHOPBRIGGS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

On the 15 April 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council, made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to be observed by vehicles between 10:00 hours and 15:45 hours on Sunday, 27 April 2025 for reasons of public safety and convenience.

ROAD CLOSURE

Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs will be closed between its junction with Stirling Drive and a point 585 metres or thereby east of its junction with the A879 Balmore Road at the East Dunbartonshire Council/Glasgow City Council Boundary.   Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in event activities and those vehicles requiring access to properties or land adjacent to the closed section of road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Balmuildy Road, Hilton Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, the A807 Torrance Road, the A807 Balmore Road, and the

A879 Balmore Road, and these routes will be sign posted.

THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (A803 KILSYTH ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

On the 15 April 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works and those vehicles requiring access to properties and land adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on a section of the A803 Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, between its junctions with the B757 Milton Road/ Ledgate, Kirkintilloch and Eastside/Kelvinvale at Eastside Roundabout, Kirkintilloch, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 04 May 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday 11 May 2025.

 Alternative Routes

The alternative routes will be by way of A803 Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, the

A891 Antermony Road, the B757 Birdston Road, Milton of Campsie, the B757

Milton Road, the A803 Glasgow Road, the A806 New Lairdsland Road, the B8048 Waterside Road, Kirkintilloch, the B8048, Auchinstarry Road, Howe Road, the B802 Airdrie Road, and the A803 Glasgow Road, Kilsyth and these routes will be signposted.

Any objections or representations in terms of Paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 1 of the Act should be lodged with the undernoted no later than 28 days from the publication date of the newspaper in which this advertisement appears.
