RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Stryd yr Wyddfa, Llanberis o bwynt ger ei gyffordd gyda Ffordd Tŷ Du gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol hyd at y gyffordd gyda Bryn Teg, Llanberis.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ar ran Scottish Power.

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol ar Ffordd Tŷ Du yna troi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda’r Stryd Fawr. 

Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. 

Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 12fed o Fai 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. 

Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 4 diwrnod.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Snowdon Street, Llanberis from a point by its junction with Tŷ Du Road, Llanberis travelling north easterly up to the junction with Bryn Teg, Llanberis.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works on behalf of Scottish Power.

The alternative route is to travel south easterly on Tŷ Du Road then turn left at the junction with the High Street. 

Travel north westerly on this road up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. 

Access will be maintained for residents. The Order comes into effect on the 12th of May, 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. 

At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 4 days.
