(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE)

 Station Road 

Parish of Ketton CP Order 2025 

Rutland County Council District Council (‘the Council’) has powers under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) to make traffic regulation orders affecting the adopted highway within the County of Rutland.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council has made an order entitled the Rutland County Council District Council (Temporary Diversion of Vehicular Traffic) Station Road Parish of Ketton CP Order 2025 as the Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted because works are proposed to be executed on or near the road.

The effect of the order is that during the dates and times specified below all vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the length of road known as Station Road from Church Road to Aldgate Court for Anglian Water to perform a stoptap replacement.

The duration of the Closure shall be for a maximum period of six months from 29th April 2025 or until the works are completed.

It is anticipated the works will take 3 days.  The closure shall come into force when the appropriate signs and diversion route are erected on site.

The duration of the Closure shall be as follows: from 29th April 2025 to 1st May 2025

The alternative route during the closure will be via the route shown on the attached plan and as shown on https://one.network

The alternative route during the closure will be via the following streets: Church Road, High Street, Stamford Road, Ketton Road, Main Street, Tinwell Road, West Street, Scotgate, All Saints Place, All Saints Street, St Johns Street, St Marys Street, St Marys Hill, Kettering Road and Main Road with a reciprocal route.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
