TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic
WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:
Upper Hinton Road – anticipated dates from 6th May 2025 until 23rd May 2025:
Road closed to all vehicles and no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time from the junction with Hinton Road to outside the property boundary of the Exchange Building
Diversion:
Upper Hinton Road, Bath Road, St Peter’s Roundabout, Bath Road, Bath Hill Roundabout, Westover Road (one-way westbound direction), Gervis Place, Hinton Road
Hinton Road (one-way eastbound direction), Bath Road, Upper Hinton Road
Hinton Road (northern side) – anticipated dates from 22nd April 2025 until 23rd May 2025:
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking bay) from outside the property boundary of No.4 Hinton Road to the property boundary of Nos.5-11 Hinton Road
Hinton Road (southern side) – anticipated dates 22nd April 2025 until 23rd May 2025:
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of parking bay) from outside the property boundary of No.6 Hinton Road
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of disabled parking bay) from outside the northern property boundary of Nos.8/9 Westover Road
No parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time (suspension of payment parking bay) from outside the northern property boundary of Nos.8/9 Westover Road to the property boundary of No.36 Westover Road
WHY: To facilitate electrical works by Connect It Utility
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
