Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:
i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:
AYLMERTON –
Tower Road from its junction with Sandy Lane to its junction with A148 Holt Road and
Sandy Lane from its junction with A148 Holt Road to its junction with Beechwood Avenue to facilitate electrical pole works. The road 1) will be temporarily closed and road 2) shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a north and south direction between 09:00 and 15:00 on the 25th April 2025 (may continue until 6th June 2025).

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by vehicles of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath.
Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required.
The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).
Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
