Isle of Wight Council (Rectory Road, Niton, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – Rectory Road will be closed for its entire length.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 18 April 2025 and Friday 30 May 2025 the following roads will be closed between 09:30 and 15:30 hours, for a period of approximately one to 3 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. Adverse weather will have an impact on this programme:
The Isle of Wight Council (Staplers Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 4 2025 – Staplers Road will be closed between its junctions with Furrlongs and Cross Lane.

The Isle of Wight Council (St Georges Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions) Order No 1 2025 – St Georges Lane will be closed for its entire length.
Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, proposes to make the following Orders: –
The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours until 2230 hours on Saturday 19 April 2025, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along a) Battery Slipway for its entire length; b) Esplanade between its junctions with Ferncliff path and Esplanade Road; c) Pier Street for its entire length. The closure is required for safety during the Easter Fireworks Event. The diversion will be signposted locally.

The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair work.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 and 1600 hours on Sunday 20 April 2025, or when the works have been completed, George Street will be closed between its junctions with Melville Street and Castle Street. The one-way restriction along George Street will be revoked for its entire length. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required for utility works.
