Oak Street, Middleton - Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles to Facilitate Telecommunications Works Within Both the Footway and Carriageway

What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(OAK STREET, MIDDLETON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Oak Street from its junction with Smethurst Street to its junction with Joshua Lane.

The Order is required to facilitate telecommunications works within both the footway and carriageway.

The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 10th May 2025 until 18.00 hours on 11th May 2025.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Joshua Lane, Greenhill Road, Smethurst Street and vice versa.
