BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH WESTHOUGHTON 071 & 072) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.88) ORDER 2024

NOTICE OF EXTENSION

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State has approved the continuing in force of the above mentioned Order until the 5th December 2025, or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

The Order is necessary as works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the highway/ there is a likely danger to the public. The reason for the extension is due to bridge structural defects and possible risk of collapse.

An alternative route is available, details of which will be published on site.
