What is happening?


DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council have made the following Orders,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Hill Bank Road,
Cradley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Hill Bank Road, Cradley, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 22/4/25 and will remain in force until 6/5/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Butchers Lane, Furlong Lane, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Castle Street,
Sedgley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding on Castle Street, Sedgley, for the purpose of installation of a new gas
supply being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into
operation on 19/04/2025 and will remain in force until 26/04/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Bilston Street, High Street, Bull Ring, High Street, Brick Street, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
