ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14

AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

ALTON ROAD, BEDDINGTON FARM ROAD, COMMERCE WAY, KEMBLE ROAD, SIDDONS ROAD, TROJAN WAY, WADDON CLOSE, & WADDON PARK AVENUE, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water main replacement works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in the roads listed in paragraph 2 below.

  2. Whilst the said work is taking place the roads below will be closed, and parking will be suspended. Parking will also be suspended on Commerce Way.

  1. When the closures are in force, the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.

Waddon CloseResidents’ access to be maintained via use of approved Oxford ramps.
Waddon Park AvenueVia Purley Way and Alton Road. Access maintained via approved Oxford boards. Also, use of gate at junction of Benson Road and Waddon Park Avenue when required.

  1. The Order will come into operation on 10 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in approximately four months. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further work is required.

  2. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle being used to carry out the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SELSDON ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Selsdon Road.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place Selsdon Road will be closed north-west bound (towards Bartlett Street) between its junctions with St. Peter’s Road and Bartlett Street.

  3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via St Peters Road, Aberdeen Road, and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 at 8pm, and it is anticipated that the work will take place overnight and be completed at 5am on 15 April 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

RICHMOND ROAD & WINIFRED ROAD, COULSDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Richmond Road and Winifred Road, Coulsdon.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

    a) Richmond Road will be closed at its junction with Winifred Road.

    b) Winifred Road will be closed at its junction with Richmond Road.

  3. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Clifton Road, Woodmansterne Road, Grove Lane, Beechwood Avenue, Whitehaven Avenue and vice versa, as appropriately signed.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 04 May 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

  5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

BEULAH CRESCENT & BEULAH ROAD, THORNTON HEATH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works for a new development, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Beulah Road and Beulah Crescent, Thornton Heath.

  2. During the work:

    a) The carriageway of Beulah Crescent will be closed from its junction with Beulah Road to its junction with Osborne Road (outside Nos. 2 to 11 Beulah Crescent).

    b) The footways of Beulah Crescent will be closed from No. 4 Beulah Crescent to the development site entrance (located between No. 50 and No. 8 Beulah Crescent).

    c) Vehicles will be banned from turning left from Beulah Road into Beulah Crescent.

  3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted vehicles will be signed on site. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure will be directed to the opposite footway.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 28 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 09 May 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

  5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle or person involved in conducting the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BOULOGNE ROAD, CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

  1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility installation works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic on Boulogne Road, Croydon.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

    a) Boulogne Road will be closed south-eastbound (towards Whitehorse Road) between the north-western boundary of Legacy Youth Zone, No. 125 Whitehorse Road, and its junction with Whitehorse Road on 26 and 27 April 2025.

    b) Boulogne Road will be closed north-westbound (towards Princess Road) on 10 to 16 May 2025.

    c) The south-western footway of Boulogne Road will be closed between the north-western boundary of Legacy Youth Zone, No. 125 Whitehorse Road and its junction with Whitehorse Road on 10 to 16 May 2025.

  3. During the work the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Whitehorse Road, Princess Road, Queens Road and Windmill Road. Pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.

  4. The Order will come into operation on 26 April 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

  5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

    (c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

  3. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

    (a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said work.

    (b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
