B4224, Mordiford, Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure due to Private Wall Restoration Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4224 From Mordiford Bridge To Fiddlers Green, Mordiford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4224 From Mordiford Bridge To Fiddlers Green, Mordiford, between Mordiford Bridge and The C1292. Grid Ref: 357059 / 237390. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1292 onto the A438 onto Folly Lane onto Aylestone Hill onto Bath Street onto St Owen Street and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to private wall restoration works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th of April 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 16 days.
