Ruxley Lane Service Road for 122 to 134 (D2097) West Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 9 April 2025 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ruxley Lane Service Road for 122 To 134 (D2097) West Ewell which extends from its junction with Cox Lane (D2097) to its junction with Scott Close (D2373).
Alternative Route - Cox Lane (D2097), Ruxley Lane (B284), Fendall Road (D2160) and Ruxley Lane (D2097) or the same route in reverse.
This Order is required to allow ALS Civil to carry out electrical works, which is anticipated to be completed within 16 days, between 8:00am and 6:00pm and, 9:00am and 5:00pm for Scott Close (D2373), during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 April 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route including emergency vehicles and residents.
