(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Radford Road between Steers Lane and the B2036. The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas works are undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 21 April 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. The works are expected to be completed by 30 May 2025. Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to SGN, telephone number 07792 943796. (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025 NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close and to introduce a temporary prohibition of waiting at anytime on sections of the following roads. This Order will also introduce a temporary 20MPH speed limit. A23, between Ifield Avenue roundabout and Horsham Road; A2220, Paymaster General roundabout junction only; B2036, between Balcombe Road roundabout junction and the Surrey County boundary; Aintree Road; Billinton Drive, between Billinton Drive roundabout junction and Station Hill; Crossways; Epsom Road; Farm Close; Fontwell Road; Gales Place; Hawth Avenue East, between Hawth Avenue and Furnace Drive; Hawth Avenue roundabout; Ifield Avenue, between Stafford Road and Ifield Avenue roundabout junction and between Ifield Drive and Ewhurst Road; Maidenbower Drive, between Billinton Drive and the B2036; Newmarket Place; North Road, between Crossways and Hazelwick Avenue; Rutherford Way, between
Priestley Way and Gatwick Road; Tollgate Hill, between the
A264 and Coachmans Drive; Weald Drive, between Hawth Avenue and Furnace Drive. These road closures are needed to protect public safety whilst the 2025/26 highway works programme is carried out. It is expected that the affected roads will be closed for upto 3 days. Reduced speed limits may be required during the works and between phases of the works. The exact dates and duration of the works and the traffic management in each location will be confirmed in advance locally nearer the time. The Order will come into effect on 17 April 2025 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the works programme is completed, whichever is earlier. During the works alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times. (Ginhams Road Amendment) Order 2025 NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce short lengths of prohibition of waiting at all times (double yellow lines) on sections of both sides of Ginhams Road between Ewhurst Road and The Twitten. The Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025 Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 16 April 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
