What is happening?

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

PARKING AMENDMENTS – BATTERSEA PARK

VARIOUS STREETS IN THE ZONE

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 9 April 2025 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

    • The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 665) Order 2025;

    • The Wandsworth (Battersea Park) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2025.

  2. The general effects of the Orders are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

  3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, which will come into operation on 11 April 2025 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

  4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Outside Nos.1–10 Primrose Mansions – reduce Bay markings – install double yellow lines

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – BANK LANE SW15

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Bank Lane to facilitate Cadent Gas utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall wait along Bank Lane. There will be westbound road closure from outside number 11 to the junction with Priory Lane. A temporary parking will also be introduced for the duration of the works. There will be no waiting 08:30 - 15:00.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 15 April 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 15 April 2025.

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – GARRATT LANE SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict Cycle movement in Garratt Lane to facilitate BT Openreach works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the southbound cycle lane will be closed from outside number 227 to outside number 245, to allow temporary footway for pedestrians. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 17 April 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 April 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – GREYSWOOD STREET SW16

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Greyswood Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced outside number 59. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 18 April 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS – HOLMAN ROAD SW11

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict access to the footway in Holman Road to facilitate Mobile Plant (Scissor Lift).

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall enter or proceed along the footway outside the Sesame Apartments on Holman Road. There will be no waiting 08:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 14 April 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 22 August 2025.
