Harrowdene Gardens, Teddington

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restrictions Order will be to introduce lengths of double yellow lines (“no waiting at any time”) in lengths of Harrowdene Gardens, Teddington, and around its junctions.
Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order:
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 25/053, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council’s website at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure, Manor Road, Richmond
(Ref: 25/042)
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate essential Level crossing maintenance works at Richmond they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a level crossing closure in Manor Road, Richmond.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Manor Road, Richmond 20m either side of its level crossing where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.
Whilst Manor Road, Richmond is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Manor Road, Lower Richmond Road (A3161) & Circular Road, Upper Richmond Rd and vice versa.
The order will come into effect on 12 April 2025. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 00.50 on 12 April to 05.30 on 14 April 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure, Nightingale Road, Hampton

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Nightingale Road, Hampton.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed west or stand in Nightingale Road, Northbound from the junction with Acacia Road to outside number 51 Nightingale Road.
Whilst Nightingale Road, Hampton is closed, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Acacia Road, Hamworth Road, and vice versa.
The order will come into effect on 14 April 2025. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 14 April to 17 April 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Waiting Restrictions Gosling Road, Twickenham

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to remove obstructive parking and due to the likelihood of danger to the public, they have made a Temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gosling Road, Twickenham.
Whilst the Order is in effect, No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand at any time in Gosling Road, on its north-eastern side, from a point outside the north-western boundary of No. 4 Gosling Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 16 metres.
The order will come into effect on 14 April 2025. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

The London of Richmond upon Thames (Barnes) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on 9 April 2025 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The Order will come into force on 14 April 2025.
The general effect of the Orders is to convert the pay and display bay opposite No. 90 Station Road to a business permit bay, operating between 7am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, and the extent to the existing double yellow line opposite No. 92 Queens Road so that it is continuous between the lengths of parking bays.

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

Temporary Road Closure Thames Bank, Mortlake

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the holding of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Thames Bank, Mortlake.
Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Thames Bank between its junctions with White Hart Lane and Williams Lane.
The Order will come into effect on 13 April 2025. The event is anticipated to be in progress at approx 8am and 10pm on 13 April 2025 only.
The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said event or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade, or ambulance purposes.

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS
VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The principal objective of the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a valid permit or badge entitles reasonable means of access difficult.
The Disabled Persons’ Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons’ vehicles, operating “at any time” in the following streets:
Bloxham Crescent, Hampton
Chestnut Grove, Twickenham
Denbigh Gardens, Twickenham
Elm Grove Road, Barnes
Godfrey Avenue, Twickenham
Haliburton Road, Twickenham
Lewis Road, Richmond
Mariner Gardens, Ham

ZONE FW EXTENSION*

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45 and 46 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions in various lengths of the roads within the zone, operating either at any time, or between 8.30am and 6.30pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive and to introduce double yellow lines in lengths of Princes Close, Princes Road and Kings Road, which are not part of the zone.
Within the zone, there will be designated permit holder only parking places and permit parking areas where only vehicles which display a valid permit may park during the controlled hours, or shared use bays.
