What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 401403 FIELD LANE (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 401403 Field Lane Road, from outside the property known as ‘Eslub Lane’ to outside the property known as ‘No. 19’, for a distance of approximately 236 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for excavation works in the carriageway and verge to install Gigaclear.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 14th April 2025 until 22nd April 2025 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C231 CLAPTON ROAD (HAM AND STONE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C231 Clapton Road from its junction with ‘Meadow Lea Blackhall’ to ‘140 metres from Park Gate’ for a distance of approximately 860 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to clear a blockage in the carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 601435 WINTERSPRING LANE (ALDERLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 601435 Winterspring Lane Road from its junction with ‘The Old Rectory to the Furlongs’ to outside of the property known as ‘Gate House Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 500 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety during telecoms works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 1st May 2025 to 2nd May 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (HAMFALLOW PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for carriageway resurfacing works.

There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing on the 30th April 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 6th May 2025.
