St Helens Parade - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (St Helens Parade) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.74) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 28th April 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
ST HELENS PARADE
From its junction with South Parade to Link Road opposite 1-8 Rostrevor Mansions.
B) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF BUS LANE
LINK ROAD OPPOSITE 1-8 ROSTREVOR MANSIONS
In its entirety.
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 28th April 2025 to 2nd May 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from St Helens Parade, Link Road opposite 1-8 Rostrevor Mansions, Southsea Esplanade and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
