Cotswold District - Multiple Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400722 LOWER PARK STREET (STOW ON THE WOLD TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400722 Lower Park Street Road from its junction with ‘Maugersbury Road’ to its junction with ‘Back Walls’ for a distance of approximately 85 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for a new water connection.
The said road is expected to be closed from 28th April 2025 to 2nd May 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ROAD FROM TODENHAM ROAD TO A3400 (TODENHAM PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICTGloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of a road, from Todenham Road to the A3400, from outside of the property known as ‘The Farriers Arms’ to its junction with ‘Todenham Restricted Byway 4’ for a distance of approximately 349 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of the National Grid.
The said road is expected to be closed from 28th April 2025 to 9th May 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency access cannot be maintained due to open excavations in the middle of the road.
