Gloucestershire – Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Infrastructure Works
What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C177 AMPNEY ST PETER TO DRIFFIELD (DRIFFIELD PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C177 Ampney St Peter to Driffield Road from outside the property known as ‘Ermin Farm’ to outside the property known as ‘Rats Castle’ for a distance of approximately 403 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for infrastructure replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed each day between 07:30hrs and 17:30hrs from 12th April 2025 until 17th April 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C188 GLOUCESTER ROAD CIRENCESTER TO DAGLINGWORTH (DAGLINGWORTH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C188 Gloucester Road Cirencester to Daglingworth from outside the property known as ‘The Grange’ to outside the property known as ‘Mulberry House’ for a distance of approximately 168 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for Openreach pole testing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401531 NORTHFIELD ROAD (TETBURY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401531 Northfield Road from its junction with London Road to outside the property known as ‘No. 41’ for a distance of approximately 52 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for various works including drainage installation.
The said road is expected to be closed from 14th April 2025 until 2nd May 2025 only or until the said works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/.
Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained due excavations in the road.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C188 Overlay Road from its junction with Maces Hill to outside the properties known as ‘Overlay Cottages’ for a distance of approximately 965 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for Openreach pole testing works.
