What is happening?
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EWH28 AND PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EWH6, EWH7, EWH8 (WHITMINSTER AND MORETON VALENCE PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath DHU 17 as detailed in the Schedule below;

Part Public Footpath EWH 6 at a point approximately 60 metres south east from its junction with Public Bridleway EWH 4 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 272 metres to its junction with EWH 7.
Part of Public Footpath EWH 7 from its junction with Public Bridleway EWH 4 extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 613 metres to its junction with Whitminster Lane.
Part Public Footpath EWH 8 from its junction with EWH 7 extending in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 262 metres to a point.
Public Footpath EWH 28 from its junction with Whitminster Lane extending in a generally southwest and western direction to its junction with Public Footpath EWH 22.
The paths fall within the Parishes of Whitminster and Moreton Valence in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to protect the public while construction works relating to Planning Application S.21/0465/FUL are carried out.
The Public Footpath was originally closed by an Order which commenced 13th May 2024 and subsequently extended until 13th May 2025. As works are still ongoing, the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension of the Order until 13th August 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained.

EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH EBW9 (BROCKWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council has by this emergency notice temporarily closed under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), part of Public EBW 9 in the Parish of Brockworth is to be temporarily closed to users under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) in a generally easterly direction for approximately 70 metres to its junction with Cycleway from southwest of 8 Nightjar Road to northeast of Ribble Close.
The public footpath falls within Brockworth Parish in the Tewkesbury Borough, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public while emergency footpath repairs are completed.
The public footpath was originally closed for 21 days by emergency Notice commencing 3rd May 2024 and was extended by a further notice and then an Order was made and subsequently extended until 3rd May 2025. As works are still incomplete, the Secretary of State has granted a further extension of the said Order until 3rd November 2025. or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
Alternative Route – No alternative route. Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining properties will be maintained. DATED: 10th April 2025.
