Trossachs Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic to Facilitate Drainage Works

What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (A821, Trossachs Road, Aberfoyle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 4-4-25.

This Order will close:

A821, Trossachs Road From its junction with the B829 to the junction of the section of the A821 leading to Trossachs Pier from 0900 hours until 1600 hours from 28-4-25 until 9-5-25 to facilitate drainage works.

Emergency service access will be maintained The location of the works is approximately 240 metres or thereby north-west of the northerly access to Limecraig Avenue for a distance of 160 metres or thereby, access will be maintained for all residents and businesses up to the point of the closure.
Alternative Routes: via A821, A84, A81 and vice versa.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (A809 / A811, Drymen) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 4-4-25.

This Order will close: A809 From its southerly junction with the B858 to its junction with the B834, and; A811 From its junction with the A809 to the Stirling Council / West Dunbarton Council boundary.

This Order will also suspend the parking on A809 From its junction with the A811 in a northerly direction for a distance of 50 metres or thereby.

A809 From its junction with the A811 in a southerly direction for a distance of 65 metres or thereby, and; A811 From its junction with the A809 in a westerly direction for a distance of 165 metres or thereby from 2000 hours until 0600 hours from 28-4-25 until 4-5-25 to facilitate surfacing works.

Emergency service access will be maintained Alternative Routes: A809 - via A809, A81, Strathblane Road (Milngavie), Glasgow Road (Milngavie), B8030 Main Street (Milngavie), B8050 Park Road (Milngavie), Craigdhu (Milngavie), A809 and vice versa.

A809 - Overheight vehicles - via A809, A81, A875, Strathblane Road (Milngavie), Glasgow Road (Milngavie), B8030 Main Street (Milngavie), B8050 Park Road (Milngavie), Craigdhu (Milngavie), A809 and vice versa.

A811 - via A811, A82 Dumbarton Road, Stirling Road, Great Western Road, A810 Dumbarton Road, Glasgow Road, Duntocher Road, A809 and vice versa.
