What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
GRANGE ROAD (SOUTHBOUND ONLY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along: Grange Road, from its roundabout with Hopewell Road, southbound for the distance of approximately 20 metres.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of a 5g mobile telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signposted for the duration of the closure.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect at 20:00 hours on 5 May 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 2 days.
