Northumberland, Temporary Road Closure Due To Fibre Cabling & Infrastructure Works
What is happening?
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) U7032 GREENHEAD JUNCTION TO FARGLOW FARM GREENHEAD (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7032 Greenhead Junction to Farglow Farm, Greenhead from its junction with Glenwhelt Bank heading northwards for a distance of 3275 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th April 2025 until the 27th April 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th April 2025 until the 20th April 2025 between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th April 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

The closure has been requested by Viberoptix to carry out mole ploughing and install chambers for fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
