Albert Road - Temporary One Way Vehicular Traffic For Sewer Repairs
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary One Way Traffic Order:
ORDER NO. MCC142947159: The City of Manchester (Albert Road, Levenshulme Ward)(Temporary One Way Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to make Albert Road One Way at the junction of Albert Road/Stockport Road(permitted direction of trave is eastbound from Stockport Road towards Mosely Road). The alternative routes for traffic will be: Kingsway, Slade Lane, Stockport Road. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to carry out sewer repairs. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 18th April 2025 to 28th April 2025. The Order shall come into operation on 18th April 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
