What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(BEAULEY ROAD, SOUTHVILLE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Beauley Road which extends from the common boundary line of No.110 and No.112 Beauley Road to the south easternmost property boundary line of No.112 Beauley Road.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and becomes operative from 22nd April 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 22nd April 2025 and 25th April 2025).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Beauley Road (part unaffected), Stackpool Road, Leighton Road, Raleigh Road, Beauley Road (part unaffected) and vice versa

(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 405 (MAY WALK), TOTTERDOWN, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Public Right of Way 405 (May Walk) which extends from Bath Road to St. Philips Greenway.

The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the public right of way and becomes operative from 21st April 2025 for a maximum period of six months (subject to necessary extension).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bath Road, Totterdown Bridge, Albert Road, Victor Street, St. Philips Greenway and vice versa
