PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(SANDY LANE/LOTHIANS ROAD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on the following stretches of road:

· Sandy Lane closed in both directions at its junction with Lower Street. Vehicular Diversion Route: Lower Street, Lowlands Avenue, Aldersley Road and vice versa.

· Lothians Road closed in both directions at its junction with Lower Street. Vehicular Diversion Route: Lower Street, Malthouse Lane and vice versa.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 21 April 2025 until 30 April 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate a gas mains replacement scheme by Cadent.
