Barrows Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Telecoms Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BARROWS LANE, STEETON, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Barrows Lane, Steeton, Keighley has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Barrows Lane from its junction with Cartmel Lane to a point outside No. 1 Redding Mill.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Barrows Lane (unaffected section) Redcar Lane, Black Hill Lane, Shann Lane, Spring Garden Lane, Green Head Lane, Skipton Road, Keighley Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 09:30 hours on the 16th April 2025 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on the 16th April 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
