(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F10581 New Rd from its junction with U12135 Castle Rd for a distance of 35 metres in northerly direction along the Link Footpath F10581 New Road.

Reason: Parapet and footway repairs by WCC.

Alternative route: U12147 New Rd (Northbound), Pedestrian Crossing, U12147 New Rd (Southbound) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 May 2025.

(U11400 Kingsway, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U11400 Kingsway from its junction with A451 Minster Road for a distance of 150 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Construction of a Zebra crossing and traffic calming features along with carriageway resurfacing including high friction surfacing and road markings by WCC.

Alternative route: U11400 Kingsway (part), U11412 Windermere Way, A451 Minster Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs except weekends). Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(U13601 Barrow Hill Lane, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U13601 Barrow Hill Lane from its junction with C2017 Drayton Road for a distance of 150 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Safe access by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2017 Drayton Road, U13605 Woodrow Lane, U13605 Tanwood Lane, U13605 Chaddesley Lane, U13601 Bournes Green Road, U13601 Barrow Hill Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 April 2025.

(C2189 Boraston Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2189 Boraston Road from its junction with C2021 Heightington Road for a distance of 120 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2021 Heightington Road, C2191 The Greenway, C2189 Porchbrook Road, C2189 Boraston Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 14 April 2025.

(C2021 Dunley Road/C2021 Heightington/C2021 Dunley, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: C2021 Dunley Road from its junction with U10011 Wylde Lane to its junction with C2021 Heightington. Closure 2: C2021 Heightington from its junction with C2021 Dunley Road to its junction with C2021 Dunley. Closure 3: C2021 Dunley from its junction with C2021 Heightington to its junction with C2071 Netherton Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: C2071 Netherton Lane, C2071 Abberley, C2071 Apostoles Oak, B4202 Pensax, C2189 Porchbrook, C2189 Porchbrook Road, C2189 Quarry Road, C2189 Boraston Road, C2021 Heightington Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 14 April 2025 and 30 April 2025.

(U10305 Wassell Drive, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10305 Wassell Drive from its junction with U10307 All Saints Ave to its junction with U10308 Cordle Marsh Rd.

Reason: Dropped kerb installation for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U10305 Wassell Dr (part), U10308 Cordle Marsh Rd, U10303 Queensway, U10304 Springhill Rise, U10305 Wassell Dr (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 6 May 2025 and 9 May 2025.

(U12417 James Road/U12415 Highfield Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1: U12417 James Road from its junction with U12418 Vine St to its junction with U12415 Highfield Rd. Closure 2: U12415 Highfield Road from its junction with U12417 James Rd to its junction with U12416 Batham Rd.

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.

Alternative route: U12418 Vine St, U12401 Hurcott Rd, U12416 Batham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 May 2025.

(U12112 Hemming Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U12112 Hemming St from its junction with U12108 Poplar Rd to its junction with U12113 Greatfield Rd.

Reason: Sewer line repair in manhole chamber by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U12112 Hemming St (part), U12113 Greatfield Rd, U12111 Spencer St, U12108 Poplar Rd, U12112 Hemming St (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 5 May 2025.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13600 Deansford Ln from its junction with A456 Birmingham Rd to its junction A450 Worcester Rd.

Reason: Carriageway surface dressing by WCC.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Alternative route: A456 Birmingham Rd, B4188 Belbroughton Rd, A450 Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 5 May 2025 and 23 May 2025.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13243 Austcliffe Ln from its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Rd to its junction with C2013 Bridge Rd.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11318 Wilden Top Rd from its junction with U11319 Bigbury Ln to its junction with B4193 Hartlebury Rd.

Reason: Utility water works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U11318 Wilden Top Rd (part), B4193 Hartlebury Rd, C2172 Wilden Ln, U11319 Bigbury Ln and vice versa.

(U11118 Hermitage Way/U11100 Redstone Lane, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – U11118 Hermitage Way from its junction with B4196 Areley Common to its junction with U11100 Redstone Lane. Closure 2 – U11100 Redstone Lane from its junction with U11118 Hermitage Way to its junction with B4196 Areley Common.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: B4196 Areley Common and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 14 April 2025 and 30 April 2025.

(U10207 Laxton Drive, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10207 Laxton Dr from its junction with U10206 Russet Way to its junction with U10209 Bramley Way.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U10209 Bramley Way, U10210 Coniston Way, U10203 Derwent Dr and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 32 days. Commencing: 6 May 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 (Prohibition of Waiting on Wyre Hill & Cleobury Road, Bewdley)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bewdley:

• Cleobury Road (southeast side) – from its junction with Wyre Hill for a distance of 10m in a north easterly direction.

• Wyre Hill (north side) – from its junction with Cleobury Road for a distance of 46.3m in an easterly direction.

• Wyre Hill (south side) – from its junction with Cleobury Road for a distance of 59m in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTIONS 90A TO SECTION 90F

PROPOSAL TO CONSTRUCT SINUSOIDAL HUMPS ON KINGSWAY, STOURPORT ON SEVERN

Notice is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to construct Sinusoidal (graduated round topped) Humps at the following location: Kingsway, Stourport on Severn.

The proposal may be described as follows: Two Sinusoidal Humps 75mm high by 3.1 metres long by 6 metres wide

First Hump: A) 52 metres north of Stourport Sports Club access road.

Second Hump: B) 99 metres north of Stourport Sports Club access road.

A plan showing these proposals may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours or alternatively can be downloaded at The Wyre Forest Public Notice Page; or copies supplied by emailing roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk; until 30 April 2025.
