SECTION 14
(LEEDS ROAD, GLASSHOUGHTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 94) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for plain line tamping to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Leeds Road,
Glasshoughton for 20 metres either side of the level crossing. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Leeds Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: A639, A6539, B6421
& vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including
29th April 2025 between 00.01 hours and 05.45 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(REDHILL ROAD, CASTLEFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 96) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds for gas mains replacement works to be carried out as follows:ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Redhill Road, Castleford. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Redhill Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Queens Park Drive, Redhill Drive & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 28th April 2025 to 8th May 2025, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible. Dated this 10th day of April 2025
