(Westhampnett – Westerton: Westerton Lane & Richmond Road)
(30MPH Speed Limit) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to introduce a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the entire length of Westerton Lane and Richmond Road
Full details of the proposals in this Notice can be viewed on our website www.westsussex.gov.uk/tro.  The website includes a response form for comments or objections.
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
Any objections or comments about the proposal must be received by 5 May 2025. ((Chichester District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2010) (Elm Close Amendment) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, WSCC, propose to make a permanent Order the effect of which will be to introduce lengths of prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) in and around the junction of Elm Close and the B2198
Bracklesham Lane.

(Harting: B2146, & Various Roads)
(20MPH, 30MPH and 40MPH Speed Limit) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, WSCC, made a permanent Order, the effect of which will be to introduce:-
(i) a 20MPH speed limit on lengths of the B2146 Park Road, South Gardens and The Street, Culvers, Elsted Road, The Hop Garden, Mill Lane, New Lane, North Lane, Pease Croft, South Acre, Tipper Lane, Warren Side; and
(ii) a 30MPH speed limit on lengths of the B2141 Harting Hill, B2146, Bohemia Hollow and West Harting Road; and
(iii) a 40MPH speed limit on a length of the B2146 The Order will come into operation on 14 April 2025.
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 10 April 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Chichester: B2144 Oving Road, Florence Road & Gilmore Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:
(i) B2144 Oving Road, between St James Road and the A259; and then
(ii) Florence Road, between the B2144 and the A259 and Gilmore Road at the junction with Florence Road 
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas replacement works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 14 April 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on the B2144 on 14 April 2025 and in Florence Road and Gilmore Road on 12 May 2025 to be completed by 6 June 2025.

(Easebourne: Hollist Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Hollist Lane between Weavers Close and the A286.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains replacement works are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 14 April 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. Works are expected to be completed by 16 May 2025.

(Aldingbourne: Lindsey Road (A29)) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Lidsey Road (A29) in Aldingbourne from its junction with Oak Tree Lane northwards to its junction with Hook Lane.
The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaces in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 12 April 2025 and remain in force until 27 April 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Boxgrove, Westhampnett & Lavant Goodwood Members Meeting)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:-
(i) prohibit vehicles from travelling along New Road, between Kennel Hill Road and Garden Furze; Westerton Lane, between New Road and Claypit Lane; Claypit Lane, between Shelby Drive and Westerton Lane; Pook Lane, between Fordwater Road and Kennel Hill; Lower Road, at its junction with Fordwater Road; and
(ii) require all vehicles to travel at a speed not exceeding 30MPH on New Road, from Garden Furze westwards for 2.4KM; Kennel Hill Road, between New Road and South Lodge; Claypit Lane, between New Road and Madgwick
Lane; and (iii) prohibit vehicles from making a right turn from Goodwood
Motor Circuit Gate 1 onto Claypit Lane; from making a right turn from Claypit Lane into Goodwood Motor Circuit Gate 1; from making a right turn from Westerton Lane onto Claypit Lane; from making a right turn from Claypit Lane
onto Westerton Lane. These restrictions will be in place between 0700 hours and 1900 hours on 11 April 2025 and 14 April 2025; and
(iv ) prohibit vehicles from making right turns onto Claypit Lane from ‘C’ carpark exits C1 and C2. This restriction will be in place between 0630 hours and 2330 hours on 12 April 2025 and 13 April 2025; and
(v ) prohibit any vehicles from waiting at any time on lengths of the west side of Claypit Lane, the south side of New Road, the west side of Madgwick Lane and on both sides of Westerton Lane;
This Order will be operative from 0700 hours on 11 April 2025 and is necessary to aid the event build and break, the management of traffic accessing the event car parks and to deter event traffic from using Westerton village as a cut through.
The speed limits will be in operation from 0700 hours on 11 April 2025 until 1900 hours on 14 April 2025. The road closures will be in place between 0630 hours on 12 April 2025 until 2330 hours on 13 April 2025. The waiting restricitons as indicated by traffic cones will be in place between 12 April
2025 and 15 April 2025.

((Arun District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2010) (Bognor Regis: The Esplanade Amendment)
Order 2025 and (Bognor Regis: The Esplanade) (20 MPH Speed Limit)
Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has recently made make two permanent Traffic regulation Orders under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the first Order will be to enact recently installed changes to the layout of the parking bays on The Esplanade in Bognor Regis between its junctions with Lennox Street and Clarence Road.
The second Order enacts the recently installed 20 MPH speed limit on The Esplanade from its junction with Lennox Street eastwards to its junction with Clarence Road.
A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 14 April 2025, together with plans showing the affected lengths of road may be viewed on the WSCC website. People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
