What is happening?

ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF OAKWOOD GROVE BROOM ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Oakwood Grove outside property no. 73 Oakwood Grove from Tuesday 15th April until Thursday 17th April 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Oakwood Grove, Oakwood Road East, B6410 Broom Lane, Beaconsfield Road and Vice Versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Renewal of water apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CHEVRIL COURT WICKERSLEY ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Chevril Court from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road service road North 1 for a distance of 30m in a north westerly direction on Tuesday 22nd. April 2025 between 8am and 4pm.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Substation replacement).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF LIMETREE AVENUE THURCROFT ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Limetree Avenue from a point 50m east of its junction with B6060 Green Arbour Road for a distance of 25m in an easterly direction from Tuesday 22nd. April until Friday 25th. April 2025 between 8am and 5pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF NEW ROAD FIRBECK ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of New Road from a point approximately 130m north of St Martins Close for a distance of approximately 60m in a northerly direction from Monday 14th. April until Wednesday 6th. April 2025 between 8am  and 6pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via New Road, Kid Lane, B6463 Lamb Lane, A60 Doncaster Road, A634 Maltby Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Essential tree works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

JAY LANE SWAN ROAD AND

DOVE LANE ASTON CUM AUGHTON SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for periods of time between Monday 14th. April and Monday 12th. May 2025.

NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order,  the roads are cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Gas renewal works).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Jay Lane from its junction with The Chase to the end of the cul de sac.

(ii)   Swan Road from its junction with The Chase to the end of the cul de sac.

(iii)   Dove Lane from its junction with Swan Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along High Hooton Road from its junction with Carr Lane to its junction with Abbey Lane on Saturday 12th. April and Sunday 13th. April 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via Carr Lane, Ramper Road, West Lane, Newhall Lane, Kingsforth Lane, Woodhouse Green, Green Arbour Road, Sandy Lane, Laughton Road, Rotherham Lane, High Street, Hooton Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF MANOR ROAD AND

PART OF LADYFIELD ROAD KIVETON PARK SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days  from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice on Sunday  20th. April 2025.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Repairs to water apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Manor Road from a point approximately 100m south of the level crossing to its junction with Ladyfield Road (the alternative route will be via Red Hill, Hard Lane, Union Street and Thorpe Road).

(ii)   L adyfield Road from its junction with Manor Road and Packman Lane for a distance of approximately 300m in an easterly direction (the alternative routes will be via Ladyfield Road, Thorpe Road, Union Street and Hard Lane).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PARTS OF THE MEADOWS

PART OF GUILDWAY AND

PART OF MILL HILLS TODWICK SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from  the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Tuesday 22nd. April and Friday 25th. April 2025. The roads will not be closed at the same time. NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Telecom works).

SCHEDULE

(i)    The Meadows from its junction with The Pastures for a distance of approximately 70m in a southerly direction.

(ii)   The Meadows from its junction with Staniforth Crescent for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction.

(iii)   Guildway from its Junction with Millfields for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction.

(iv)   Mill Hills between its junction with Kiveton Lane and its junction with The Meadows.
